Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Mayor, James Palmer is making a start on delivering affordable homes to the region.
You voted in your new Conservative Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, James Palmer back in May and today he is working hard to bring more affordable housing to Peterborough.
James meet recently with Peterborough City Council Leader and one of the Combined Authority's Deputy Mayors, Cllr. John Holdich to discuss plans for the city.
James said:
"It was great to be with the leader of Peterborough City Council this morning, Cllr John Holdich, at the Newark Road site in Peterborough. There are exciting plans for over 100 homes on the site, all of which will be affordable. These plans have been made possible by funds provided by the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority. As one of Combined Authority's Deputy Mayors, Cllr Holdich has worked closely with me to ensure that the residents of Peterborough benefit from the authority's housing fund."
