Bretton Action Team Leader Chaz Fenner got in touch with the city council to confirm that the Bretton Water Park will open again when it is safe to do so.
He met onsite with Councillor Wayne Fitzgerald the City Council’s Deputy leader and the man who got the water park built in the first place and he confirmed that the Water park is in safe hands with the Conservatives in charge at the city council.
He said “The only reason the Water Park is closed this year is due to the Covid 19 pandemic and we all need to put health and safety first to protect both the parents and their children.”
Speaking to Intouch our Bretton action team leader Chaz said “ I contacted the council as I was extremely concerned to read in a recent Labour Party newsletter that came around to Bretton residents that they had tried to con people into thinking that it was at risk with a misleading headline that said “Save Bretton Water Park”.
